Subcontracting Fair: Complete success – well-filled books for AicherFour days of Subcontracting Fair in the book town of Leipzig, from 26 till 29 February. This means stress and completely weak feet. “Yet it turned out worthwhile for us in all spheres”, Sales Manager Reinhard Schnell assesses with satisfaction.

Aicher presented itself with a new trade fair concept that the agency See-Marketing (Stetten near Meersburg / Lake Constance) and the standfitting operation Schüler (Rottweil) had worked on since October.
And it had what it takes!
With a height of 4.50 meters and coloured in the glowing orange of the
company the stand was visible from afar and definitely hard not to notice.
"We are innovative, smart and among the first – why shouldn’t
we show this? You’re right, we stood out”, Reinhard Schnell
says.

The neighbouring stands we exchanged our breakfast with did not take long to praise us. “We were photographed and even taken sketches of”, Schnell is smiling and he has got even more reasons for the contented expression on his face. “We met new potential international buyers and were able to initiate projects that are clearly in the six-digit euros region.”
And the trend would be clearly visible that more and more customers are going over to outsourcing production and assembly of complex component parts. “The companies profit from our experience and may concentrate at their core competences.”
Field service manager Hans-Peter Schluchter considers it an advantage when Aicher is involved in the development stage as early as possible, “Then you’ll understand each other as partners and can work more efficiently.”

Also new is the multimedia presentation at the exhibition stand displayed on a large screen showing cars, motors, machines, and component parts Aicher parts are being built in.
This eight-minute presentation, informative and spiced with humour,
was running around the clock during the four days of the fair, i.e.
a good 250 times.
Training manager Armin Lang is amuzed, “Meanwhile we are able
to speak along synchronously with the speaker”, who is comedian
Frank Golischewski from Trossingen.
Lang’s team of apprentices also contributed to the success of
the fair.
They manufactured the sample parts presented to the visitors on a revolving
table in the training workshop opened only recently.
A welcome change from the stress of the fair was offered by the Exhibitors’ night. The experts for turned parts from the Heuberg mountain liked the band so much that they almost engaged them for their 50th anniversary in 2010.
