50 Years at the Forefront
The year 2010 is not just any round number, it is the year we celebrate “50 years of Aicher”.
Our passion for such even, all-round perfection was evident from the
very start:
The company founder Augustin Aicher bought his first lathe in 1960 and
produced turned parts – first in his brother-in-law’s basement,
then in his own factory soon after.
“At the forefront” was his motto. The entrepreneur was always open to new developments and has maintained his interest in the latest innovations despite being in his 80s today.
His son, Franz-Karl Aicher, who took over the company in 1995, has made Aicher a competent development partner for its customers. The third generation is now also enthusiastically “at the forefront” – a son and two daughters are actively involved in the company.
There is also an international demand for our company’s milling services.
